Appart'City Collection Genève Aéroport - Vernier

We stayed for 3 nights on a short getaway with my wife. An excellent value for money if you are travelling on a tight budget. It's about a 25 minutes bus ride to the city centre and close to the airport (airplane noise is NOT an issue). They provide free public transport passes which is extremely useful. The staff was helpful in everything we requested. Room had a coffee machine, a fridge, a small kitchen with plates and cutlery, an iron, and a hair dryer. We had breakfast which is okay - we would appreciate a bit more variety but no complaints.

Free coffee, chocolate, tea e.t.c. ALL day long. Super Markets (Coop Denner Migros Lidl) walking distance from the hotel. M/W oven, refrigerator and full kitchen utensils. Bus stop 10 meters from the hotel. Polite stuff. Good enough but not excellent breakfast. A little far from town center but all the above worth the distance.

Comfortable room with kitchenette! Conveniently located near (3) grocery stores. Bus stop right outside the hotel, with multiple bus lines to choose from therefore not much wait time ( usually under 10 mins at most) coming or going. Close to the airport-10 mins away by taxi!

Our main reason for choosing this accommodation was based on cost. It was lower than most accommodations in Geneva and based on the reviews the standard of accommodation would be good, although I was not so sure about the location ? It turned out to be an excellent choice! The accommodation was excellent, the kitchenette was sufficient for drinks and the odd snack when we wanted, the views from the terrace were breath taking, the bed was super comfy and the location turned out to be much better than expected. We rented a car and parking on the premises was Free of charge but we were given a free transport card so it made sense to use the public transport for shorter distances, in fact their was a Tram stop just outside the apartments with a direct line into Geneva centre so we only used the car when going further afield. We booked the apartment to use as a base whilst visiting our son but enjoyed our stay so much that we definitely want to return.

The location is really good, it is very close to the airport. Next to it is a very big supermarket ones at 7:30am as we have booked a room with small kitchen, we are able to have breakfast in the room and light meal in the evening after long day walk. Also, there are few good restaurants close by in walking distance. The staff is really helpful, indoor car park is big and safe. As we have the free travel pass on arrival, and the bus stop to city center is just right outside the hotel, we decided to take public transport for a day trip walking in beautiful Genève. We had a great stay and will come back to stay here if we revisit Geneve.
